Let yourself be captivated by a unique experience immersed in the green heart of the Umbrian and Piedmonts Peninsula: come and explore the artisanal traditions of Umbria and Piedmont, and discover the wonders of the region through the harvest and transformation of an ancient delicacy… truffles!

Day 1 - PERUGIA
Welcome to the participants and transfer to the Hotel Brufani 5* located in the historic center of Perugia, just a short walk from the main historical landmarks. The luxurious 5-star Hotel Brufani Palace offers a magnificent view over the Umbrian valley.
Welcome dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay. -
Day 2 - PERUGIA
Breakfast in the hotel.
In the morning, a Chocolate-making workshop: “Create and decorate your favorite chocolate.” In this course, participants will create personalized chocolates, from selecting the ingredients and molds to crafting the most creative and original decorations. A small work of art that will surely impress anyone who gets to taste it.
Lunch at the hotel.
In the afternoon, guided tour of Perugia’s historic center, rich in monuments and architectural treasures: the symbol of the city is the Fontana Maggiore, designed by Nicola and Giovanni Pisano, two of Italy’s greatest sculptors of the 13th century. The fountain is located in Piazza IV Novembre, one of Italy’s most beautiful squares, surrounded by the Palazzo dei Priori and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, two jewels of medieval architecture. The tour continues with the Oratorio di San Bernardino, an outstanding example of Perugian Renaissance art, dating back to the mid-15th century.

Day 3 - PERUGIA - ASSISI - PERUGIA
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Assisi for a guided tour of the city’s main landmarks: the Basilica of St. Francis, an architectural masterpiece that houses some of the best Italian medieval art, including works by Giotto and Cimabue; Piazza del Comune; the Cathedral of San Rufino; and the Basilica of Santa Chiara.
Lunch at the Restaurant La Locanda del Cardinale
The itinerary continues with a visit to the Church of San Damiano and the Eremo delle Carceri, a serene location where St. Francis used to retreat for prayer. Visit to the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli before returning to Perugia.

Day 4 - PERUGIA - GUBBIO - CITTÀ DI CASTELLO
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for Gubbio. Guided tour of the medieval town, famous for the Festa dei Ceri. Among the main monuments, we’ll visit the Ducal Palace, built by Duke Federico of Montefeltro in the late 15th century; the Cathedral, with works by Gubbio’s leading artists of the 16th century; the Roman Theater, dating from the 1st century BC; and the Palazzo dei Consoli, a Gothic-style building reflecting Gubbio’s medieval importance.

Transfer to Città di Castello to attend the 37th edition of the White Truffle Exhibition, which celebrates culinary excellence with a focus on truffles. The historic center will be filled with sensory workshops, shows, and tastings, with truffle as the star ingredient. Here, you can explore the delights of famous chefs skilled in the art of truffle cuisine. The area is known for both white and black truffles, so you’ll be fully immersed in the Kingdom of His Majesty, the Truffle.

Day 5 - CITTÀ DI CASTELLO - PIETRALUNGA - MONTONE - CITTÀ DI CASTELLO
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Pietralunga for a day dedicated to nature. Here, participants will explore the world of truffles through the eyes of “cavatori” (truffle hunters) and their loyal dogs. Small groups will venture into the typical Umbrian landscape, learning about the earth’s colors and smells along the way.
Truffle-themed breakfast, forest expedition with real truffle hunters, visit to a local truffle farm, and truffle-based lunch.
In the late afternoon, transfer to Montone for the Festa del Bosco, where you can taste local products like mushrooms, chestnuts, and more, while enjoying the town’s traditional craftsmanship. Throughout the festival, you can also experience musical performances and other entertainment.
Dinner at the Restaurant Locanda del Capitano.
Return to Città di Castello for overnight stay. -
Day 6 - CITTÀ DI CASTELLO - SIENA - FLORENCE
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for Siena. Upon arrival, meet with the guide for a tour of the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1995. Highlights include Piazza del Campo, where the famous Palio horse race takes place, and the Palazzo Pubblico. The Torre del Mangia stands over the square at 102 meters high, offering a perfect view.

In the afternoon, continue to Florence with a stop for a wine tasting at a Chianti Classico winery.
Arrive in Florence, check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7 - FLORENCE
Breakfast at the hotel.
Full day guided tour of Florence, known for its glorious Renaissance past, particularly under the rule of the powerful Medici family. Famous artists promoted by the Medici dynasty left a lasting artistic legacy in the city.
A walk through the most important sights of Florence: Piazza Duomo with the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Brunelleschi’s imposing dome, Giotto’s Campanile, and the Baptistery. Continue to the Dante district and Piazza della Signoria, dominated by Palazzo Vecchio. Don’t miss the view of the Arno from Ponte Vecchio, followed by a visit to the Santa Croce and Santa Maria Novella neighborhoods, both home to magnificent basilicas.

In the afternoon, visit the Uffizi Gallery, one of the world’s most renowned art museums.

Day 8 - FLORENCE - PISA - LUCCA - MASSA CARRARA (Montignoso)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for Pisa. Meet with the guide for a tour of the city, famous for its Leaning Tower, built between the 12th and 14th centuries. Nearby, the Duomo of Santa Maria Assunta showcases Pisan Romanesque art. The Baptistery, dating from the 12th century, is the largest in Italy.
Transfer to Lucca for a visit to the historic town.
Lunch at the Restaurant Osteria Bastian Contrario
In Lucca, you’ll see Roman-era ruins, including the elliptical Piazza dell’Anfiteatro and the Roman Forum (Piazza San Michele).
Visit the Guinigi Tower, famous for its topiary oaks.
Transfer to Montignoso.

Day 9 - MASSA CARRARA (Montignoso)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Traditional Tuscan cooking class (3 hours) at the Relais & Châteaux Bottaccio Hotel. After the class, enjoy the dishes prepared, paired with fine Tuscan wines.
Afternoon free. On request, participate in an exclusive fashion tour of Italy’s top designers.

Day 10 - MASSA CARRARA (Montignoso) - ALBA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Carrara for a guided tour of the marble quarries, the birthplace of the world’s most famous white marble. Learn about the history of Carrara marble, which was used to create famous sculptures like Michelangelo’s David and the Pietà.
Finish with a brunch featuring Lardo di Colonnata.

Day 11 - ALBA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Full day dedicated to one of the region’s noble products: wine. Visit to the Falletti Castle in Barolo and the Wine Museum, where you’ll descend into the heart of the castle while learning about wine culture.
Afternoon visit to Grinzane Cavour Castle, one of the oldest and most impressive castles in the Langhe region, part of the UNESCO World Heritage wine landscape. The castle houses the Piedmontese Wine Cellar, a restaurant, and the Langhe Museum, showcasing the region’s culinary traditions.

Day 12 - ALBA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Tour of the city of Alba, a historical town rich in medieval monuments and towers. Visit the Medieval Town Hall, San Domenico Church, and the Federico Eusebio Museum, with prehistoric and Roman artifacts.
